Look back and reflect so we can move forward.

Tēnā koe Josie,

Many of you over the past three months have commented on how fast this year is flying by. The days and weeks seem to spin past us, and now the Easter break is over, we are settling into one of the most productive times of the year.

There is real power in pausing and setting intentions for your development and learning as winter draws near.

Our aim with the Leaderful Newsletter is to share insights and resources that will help you to pause, reflect and learn to keep progressing you.
What's been happening at Leaderful
At Leaderful we are excited to have launched our first 2021 Cohort of Career Camp. A group of talented and intentional women have come together to reflect on their career to date and to determine what career success means to them.
Watch this space for the impact they are making for themselves and others.

ENQUIRE ABOUT CAREER CAMP STARTING 1 JUNE

We are also providing one to one coaching for a number of women whose organisations are willing to invest in their career and leadership development. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss a personalised coaching programme for yourself or the women in your organisation.

Mentor or sponsor?
We often get asked about the difference between a mentor and a sponsor. Check out this excellent guide from the Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) that explains the different role and value of each.
CCL has offered this Free Guide to help organisations retain and advance the women in their workplace.

Diversity and Inclusion Impact Report 2020
The recently published Diversity Report is the third in the series that shows trends on gender and ethnic diversity in management and governance roles in many of the largest businesses in Aotearoa.
To accompany the report there are three video case studies based on interviews with the Chief Executives of PwC, Westpac and Heartland Bank. The interviews are a valuable insight into the ways that these leaders are thinking about diversity and inclusion in their organisations.

The Motherhood Penalty Campaign
The most significant penalty for women in career progression is having a baby. See this video and work by Global Women on the Motherhood Penalty.
For coaching that specialises on mothers returning to work, Reconnect is known for the work they do in this area. Reconnect has resources on the topic of working parents from a parent's perspective and a business leader's perspective.
For resources specifically for working mothers, Professionelle has a set of resources to help women successfully manage parenting and work. View Resources
